All the doctors are involved in routine medical care but in addition we are very fortunate in being able to offer a whole host of specialist expertise and knowledge to augment our clinical care and standards.

Areas of clinical interest include child health, full contraceptive services, sexual health, skin disease, eye diseases, diabetes, minor surgery and disability analysis. Full details of doctors and their individual interests are available on our website or from reception.

The surgery is both a training and a teaching practice approved by the University of Manchester.

In total we usually have 4 doctors in training.
GP registrars (ST3) are attached to our practice for 12 months (whole time).
The registrars are doctors who have already spent three or more years in hospital practice before spending a year with us. They usually go on to be independent GPs at the end of this training. They are now termed ST3 doctors.

We also host ST2 doctors - spending 6 months in general practice as part of their second year in specialty training. They may not end up as GPs but could become hospital consultants.
